Steve Summers is the CEO and Founder of The Mortgage Link, bringing over 30 years of mortgage industry experience and leadership to the team. A well-respected mortgage professional, Steve has built a company rooted in integrity, transparency, and relationships — believing that every client deserves more than just a transaction. He leads with the philosophy that customer satisfaction comes from a commitment to education, honest communication, and expert guidance.
A Maryland native, Steve grew up in Potomac and attended St. Andrew’s School before earning his degree from Shepherd University in West Virginia. Today, he lives in Potomac with his wife, Chrissy, where they enjoy golfing, long walks, fishing, boating, and spending quality time with their two daughters and friends.
With a deep understanding of the mortgage landscape, Steve is passionate about helping clients find the right financing solutions—whether they’re buying their first home, upgrading, or investing. He holds memberships with the National Association of Mortgage Brokers (NAMB) and the Maryland Association of Mortgage Professionals (MAMP), and continues to stay actively involved in shaping a high-standard, client-first mortgage experience.
