About Me

Carey Riel is a seasoned loan officer with over 20 years of experience, living in Germantown, Maryland, and serving clients across Maryland, DC, Virginia, Delaware, Florida, and North Carolina. As a United States Marine Corps veteran with 8 years of service, Carey brings firsthand knowledge and a deep commitment to helping fellow veterans and active-duty military members navigate VA loan financing and other mortgage options.

With expertise in VA, FHA, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, USDA, DSCR, and Bank Statement loans, Carey specializes in guiding first-time homebuyers and military clients through the mortgage process with education, transparency, and personalized support. He ensures every client feels confident and informed as they take steps toward homeownership.

Since 2011, Carey has been a dedicated volunteer and fundraiser with Ride Allegheny, supporting Operation Second Chance to assist disabled veterans, soldiers, and Marines—a cause close to his heart.

Outside of work, Carey enjoys deep-sea fishing, road bicycling, and mountain biking, reflecting his active and adventurous spirit.
